There are so many things to remember for businessmen, and many things can go wrong if important details are overlooked. Businessmen can save their stress for business meeting, presentation, and demo by confirming that they have made entire preparations beforehand.
Following is a complete packing checklist for businessmen-

• Files and Documents-

  Organize every business document in either a single binder or series of binders.

  For all electronic documents, you can take a disc and store data in it for backup.
• Cell Phone and PDA-

  You have to make sure that they have stored contact names and addresses of all the people with whom they are going to deal with in cell phone or PDA. If this is not possible then you should write down the information safely in notebook. You must carry the chargers for electronic devices such as laptop and cell phone.

• Clothing-

  You should pack clothes while moving from your house. You should do this in such a manner that all your belongings will fit in one suitcase, which you can carry in main cabin of the plane along with briefcase. This will save time.
  A dark colored suit is good for clumsy waiters, bad climate, and other rough acne that may occur during travel. Businessmen always have to carry backup suit, shirt and tie.

• Laptop-

  You must carry an extra telephone cord to use with your laptop in hotel room, if high speed wireless access is not available in the hotel room.

• Before Walk Out the Door-

  Before leaving the door make sure you carry your plane tickets, hotel confirmation documents, business papers, discs, and appropriate credit cards. You must carry all these items in one of the carry-on bags to avoid a potential luggage lost. You should carry some snacks in carry-on bag before leaving the door.

• At the Airport-

  You must call all the people with whom you are going to deal with before takeoff of the plane to avoid confusion, misunderstanding and last minute changes in their schedules. If you want to avoid sending your laptop through X-ray machine at the airport, then it should be easily accessible so that you can hand it off to a security guard when going through the security check point. 
  With the right amount of planning and preparation beforehand, you can minimize their worries while on the move and focus on the business.
