Packing is a very essential element of every holiday trip. One has to include everything that is needed for trip such as clothing, medicines, and toiletry items. Following is a complete basic packing checklist for holiday movers.

• Money- In some countries such as China and India, government has controls on foreign exchange transactions , so it is difficult to use credit and debit cards in these countries and to avoid this problem you should check details of your destination before leaving the house.

Essential- Cash, traveler’s cheque, credit cards and ATM cards       
Remember PIN code numbers for credit cards and ATM cards. Never write PIN numbers on your cards because it can invalidate insurance or the banks cover if you write PIN numbers on cards. If you are completely relying on cards then you must carry at least two cards of different networks.

• Documents-

Essential- Itinerary, name, addresses and telephone number of the destination. Always keep scanned copies of all essential documents in your webmail inbox. It will make things easier for you in case of loss of documents.
Very Useful Documents- Always carry very useful documents like passport, driving license, phone card, guide book, maps, pocket dictionary, passport size photos, emergency phone numbers and medical history (blood type/eye) separately.

• Food-

Very Useful- Always carry bottle of water and perishable snacks such as nuts, chocolates and energy bars.

• Clothes- Following is an essential moving checklist for clothes.

Essential Clothes-
Essential clothes such as shirts, trousers, jeans, socks, underwear, shoes, jacket, sweater and money should be packed before moving from the door.
Useful Clothes- Carry your useful clothes like handkerchief, T-shirts, towel, belt and cap before leaving for holiday.

• Medical Supplies-

Essential- You should carry your essential things such as sun protection cream, sunglasses with UV protection and mosquito repellent while moving for holiday.
Very Useful- Useful things such as cracked hill ream, chapstick, antifungal cream, condoms, water purification tablets, paracetamol, anti-diarrhea and anti-bacterial cream should be packed by you for holiday.

• Toiletries-
