Moving is an exciting and life changing experience for students but one major question is unanswered that how and what to pack for the move. Following is a complete basic packing checklist for students while moving from their house.
Clothes-
Before keeping anything in a bag, students should lay their clothes out in stacks. First; students must lay sweater flat and unfold their shirts, T-shirts, long sleeve shirts and swimsuit and lay them flat on the sweater.
Wrinkled shirts must be kept at bottom and shirts, which wrinkle a lot, must be kept on the top. Same thing is applicable for pants such as jeans, trousers and shorts. Students must stack shorts with their pants.
Underwear and Socks-
Students must roll their underwear in balls, and place these balls in their shoes or even in long sleeved shirtsleeves. Students should carry five pairs of underwear’s, so that it shouldn’t be that hard to stash. If you want to roll your socks in a ball, then wait until the rest of their suitcase gets full before stashing them in corners. If you want to place your socks flat, then place it on the top of their stacks of clothes.
Shoes important Papers and more-
Shoes must be kept in the bottom of the bag while packing and at the top important papers like passport; visa, plane ticket, journal and books must be kept. The rule of thumb denotes that the heaviest items should be packed at the bottom and light weight items should be packed at the top. Toiletries like shampoo, toothbrush, soap, deodorant, disposable razors, brush; tissues, contraceptives, nail clippers and suntan lotion should be packed on the top of shoes. If students are travelling during a winter season, then they have to wear their heavy coat rather than pack it.
